The pastor of the Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church is Dr. Carl B. Lilly, Jr. He is married to Paula (Rowsey) Lilly. The Lilly’s are both from Holden, WV and are Graduates of Logan High School. They have four adult children and nine grandchildren

Pastor and Wife

Pastor Lilly was ordained to preach the gospel in July 1979, while a member of the Central Free Will Baptist Church, Huntington WV.

He is a graduate of the Bethany Bible College and Seminary, Dothan, GA., and recently received his Doctorate of Christian Counseling degree from the Andersonville Theological Seminary, Camilla, GA. Pastor Lilly was pastor of the Morning Star Free Will Baptist Church in Harts, WV for one year; assistant pastor of the Sunshine Free Will Baptist Church in Huntington for one year; and now is in his twenty-third year as pastor of Sunshine.
